Instructions
Printing Technique
Any Laser Printer device is capable of printing on CLP Dark paper. However, it is advised to utilize original Laser Printers with original inks on them in order to get the most out of this printing and transfer paper. To get better results, set the quality choice to Photo Quality and the standard to Normal printing. Never forget that the print must always be transferred with the medium facing when using the Transfer technique. Therefore, before printing the design pattern on paper, set it to Print Mirror Image.
Transfer Technique
Check to see if the print is completely dry after pressing the transfer paper for 5 seconds with the heat press at a lower temperature. Trim the design as necessary and eliminate the unprinted films. Now take off the backing paper and set the printed film down just where you want it in the medium. Release the paper covering the pattern and then use the typical heat and pressure settings to push the transfer paper onto the medium. After transferring, gently peel the paper from one corner. While the paper is still hot, exercise caution.
Setting recommendations for light mediums include:
- Temperature: 235 255 Fahrenheit or 115 125 Celsius
- Time: 25 Seconds
- Pressure: Approximately 40 lbs
Washing and Ironing Instructions
Wash inside out to avoid scuffing and damaging the design print. The finished item should only be washed with cold water. WASH THE MEDIUM WITH ANY TYPE OF BLEACH OTHER THAN BLEACH. Instead of letting the item air dry after washing, immediately place it in the dryer. When ironing, avoid heating the areas of the design medium that have printed images on them.
General Instructions
It is suggested that you print and test one output before producing big amounts. Make sure the ink is suitable for the media as well.
Transfer papers should be kept in a plastic bag until they are actually utilized to prevent them from getting wet. The container needs to be sealed after each use.
